Glendale railway station is the name of a station to be built on the existing Sydney-Newcastle railway line in Australia. The new station will be located immediately east of the Stockland Glendale shopping centre, near the former Cardiff railway workshops. The station will serve the suburb of Glendale on the Newcastle and Central Coast Railway Line. The platform is expected to be an island platform in the middle of the line with room for 8 carriages. Construction commenced in 2013. In June 2017, the government donated $1.7 Million to the project[1]
