The NSW TrainLink fleet consists of both diesel and electric traction, with the oldest of the fleet being the V sets and the youngest being the H sets. T sets mostly operate on Sydney Trains' suburban network, but occasionally operate on intercity services as well. H sets operate some peak suburban services as well. All electric trains, except for the D sets, are maintained by Sydney Trains.
