Point Clare is a small station on the Main Northern railway line, serving the Central Coast suburb of the same name. The station has two, four car long, side platforms built on an embankment, with stairs down to Brisbane Water Dr and Kurrawa Av. A pedestrian tunnel connects the two streets. There is small ticket office and toilet block at street level, however the station is unstaffed at most times.

History[]

Point Clare opened on 28th June 1891.[1]

Early planning is underway for an accessibility upgrade at Point Clare as part of the Transport Access Program. The upgrade is expected to be completed in 2022.[2]

Point Clare is served by NSW TrainLink Central Coast & Newcastle Line services. There are hourly services in each direction during the offpeak, boosted to every 30 minutes during the peak.
